#011 - Dam That's a Problem
In this week's solo episode, Brian and Josh make do without Bob, off celebrating his dad's birthday. Brian brings in news articles about the Mosul Dam and its imminent threat to the Middle East, and Josh kicks off a discussion about some planets that we dream of one day visiting.
With our poet-in-residence away to celebrate his dad's birthday, Brian and Josh take their own stab at analyzing poetry, much to Bob's jealousy. Our discussion about James Galvin's Everything We Always Knew Was True brings us back to the central reason we started this podcast: to not be as presumptuous as Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were at the Oscars.
We wrap up this episode with our personal qualms with ESPN despite our deep sports fandoms.
